We’ll also have a special showcase of innovative sustainable furniture from Planq and Randers + Radius and will be encouraging visitors to bring old clothes and fabrics that they are intending to throw away for us to repurpose into a new office chair instead.

Randers + Radius is known for their production of innovative and timeless furniture. Sustainably minded, their products are produced in Denmark in collaboration with some of the country’s most talented and established architects.

We are really excited to get back to the office after such a long spell of remote working. As the vaccination program is rolled-out, heading back to the office is finally a reality for us. There have been lessons learned, virtual highlights, quizzes, wine tastings and even the odd virtual bingo session. All that said, we think everyone will join us in saying a bit normality is overdue, needed and will be very well received.

Despite lockdown we have been busy helping our clients planning their return to work and creating some fantastic new office spaces. Recently the team worked in partnership with Aura (PM + Cost Consulting) to deliver the new London HQ for Trustpilot.

Located in Minster Court with panoramic views of Tower Bridge, the Shard and the Thames, Trustpilot were keen to take advantage of the office’s perimeter space, asking us to create comfortable collaborative areas and coffee bars near the windows for their employees to enjoy the views. The space included two terraces at either end of the floor which were utilized to provide additional touchdown workspaces for staff to enjoy the outdoor space, London weather permitting!

The main question we are hearing our clients ask the most at the moment is what safety measures can be implemented quickly in the office to help support workplace concerns post COVID19 lock-down. Whilst we are uncertain of when employees will be able to return to the office, we have taken the steps to help prepare and ensure these measures comply with necessary hygiene and protective standards for when the time comes.

Wipeable Screens

Wipeable screens can be positioned as a protective barrier in many areas around the office. They can surround your workstation, be positioned on the counter of your reception desk and used in meeting spaces. The transparent nature of the screens means light is not obstructed, and visibility across the office is maintained. This way the office remains sociable but interaction between colleagues and clients is safer. This type of screen is usable without assembly and can be moved easily when required. This protective shield is freestanding in either a horizontal or vertical position, can be made to your preferred size and is super easy to clean.

Privacy Booths

Phone and work booths create an away-space within the office that is also isolated from others. Hush, a range of meeting and phonebooths, have launched a premium vinyl for the interior panels. This means that the surfaces inside are wipeable and the booth remains a hygienic space for users to work in. The anti-bacterial, anti-microbial vinyl is available in 36 colours and conforms to all European standards.

We Celebrate Pride Month with Pride

While this month represents the Pride movement, we want to acknowledge the pain and suffering in the Black community. Insidesource commits to listening. We commit to learning. We stand by and with you. Black lives matter.

No social or human rights movement exists in a vacuum. The interconnection and overlap of social identities such as race, gender, sexuality, and class create interdependent systems of discrimination. The Black Lives Matter movement, although not new, has gained powerful and meaningful momentum close to the anniversary of Stonewall Uprising in June of 1969. This was the start of the gay rights movement. Marsha P. Johnson, a black transgender woman, and Sylvia Rivera, a Puerto Rican transgender woman, were on the frontlines of this movement.

We honor those who fought for the freedoms of so many, making immeasurable impacts on the world. We stand by and support those who still face these discriminations.

Pride month will look a little different this year. While we won’t be parading in the streets, we can have conversations, share resources, and we can continue learning. Here are just a few great organizations to learn more about and support, if you are able.

National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Therapists – A healing justice organization committed to transforming mental health for queer and trans people of color
